FABRICIO INTERNATIONAL TEAM – WORLD MASTER JIU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP 2014.

Fabricio International Team proudly announces the great results conquered on World Master IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2014 (Walter Pyramid, in Long Beach, California).

The team was very well represented by Brian Beauchamp, Stephen Khampuis, Samy Al Jamal, Devanir Ferreira, Malek Hariri, Renato Oliveira, Rana Qubbaj and Ruba (Fuad Musa) Nicola Alsayegh.
In total, we conquered 5 gold medals, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

Brian Beauchamp after recent achievement in Brazil, where conquered his tenth gold medal on IBJJF International Masters and Seniors championship, in a flawless campaign, submitting most of the fights and conquered double gold on Worlds (weight division and open class).

Stephen Kamphuis besides leading the team in Philippines represented the team very well, doing real battles in the finals of the weight class division and on the open class. After a controversial referee decision, Stephen got second on the division but as always fight for gold, on open class final Stephen fought the same opponent and conquer the gold!

Sami Al Jamal perfectly led his students on the Worlds and also did a flawless campaign. Samy defeated his first opponent by submission after open 12 points, went to the final after a tough match winning by points. On the final, in a very tough and tied fight, got the silver by advantages.

Rana Qubbaj made history getting double gold (weight division and open class) and also become the first Jordanian and Arab woman to win two gold medals in a World Championship. Rana also got double gold recently on International Master & Senior Jiu-Jitsu Championship, consolidating her dominance on world Jiu-Jitsu.

Ruba Sayegh got third, proving that’s one of the best fighters in the world on her division.

Malek Hariri won his first fight by points (9-0) and lost in the quarter finals in the last seconds. As always Malek represented the team with lot of determination.

Special mention to Renato Oliveira that fought in purple belt, master division.
